Tambov residents are expected at the festival "On the Nameless Height"


On June 22, on the memorable day of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, the military-patriotic festival "On the Nameless Height" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory will be held in the village of Lysye Gory in the Tambov Municipal District, the regional government reports.
From 11 am, a battle scene from the Great Patriotic War will be recreated on the territory of the Tambov District Museum of Local History with the participation of about a hundred people. The reconstruction program includes imitation of artillery shelling, close combat, attacks using military equipment and artillery. Military personnel, historical reenactors and volunteers will take part in the event.
Festival guests will be able to see the work of the "Field Hospital", learn the basics of first aid and master the skills of weaving camouflage nets. Creative master classes "Victory Waltz" and "Letter to a Soldier" will give everyone the opportunity to express their gratitude and respect to the war heroes. There will also be military sports competitions for sports fans, where they can test their strength and agility. In the field kitchen, everyone will be treated to traditional soldier's porridge.
